About Me
My name is Calvin Clark, and I am the owner of Calvin's Tutoring Services. I founded the business as a senior at Joplin High School in 2022, and I am incredibly grateful for how much it has grown since then.
In 2022, I graduated from Joplin High School with honors (cum laude) while maintaining a 3.87 GPA. During high school, I was actively involved in the National Honor Society, Joplin Student Council, and Joplin Youth Council, experiences that helped develop my leadership skills and passion for serving others.
In 2026, I graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Human Resources. During my undergraduate studies, I earned Dean’s List honors and became a member of Phi Eta Sigma, an academic honor society that recognizes outstanding first-year college students.
At 22 years old, I am continuing my education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration while growing my passion for tutoring and supporting students in our community. My goal is to provide students with the confidence, skills, and encouragement they need to achieve academic success.

I founded Calvin's Tutoring Services as a senior in high school with a simple goal: to make a positive impact on the lives of students in my community. I wanted to create a business that not only helped students succeed academically but also encouraged them to develop confidence and a love for learning.
At Calvin's Tutoring Services, I believe that learning should be engaging, encouraging, and fun. Every student learns differently, and my goal is to provide personalized support that meets each student’s individual needs while helping them reach their full potential.
For more than four years, I have had the privilege of serving students throughout the Joplin community. I work with students in grades K–12 across a variety of subjects, focusing on building strong academic foundations, improving confidence, and creating a positive learning experience.
As the business continues to grow, my commitment remains the same: to help students succeed, inspire a love of learning, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the families I serve.
